This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Bob is sure that if Sheri let him buy a motorcycle, he could drive it. But Sheri knows "Al's" sense of  direction is a little off since Sheri has to say "turn left "as Bob heads for the bathroom :)

  1. Your blogs are wonderful Sheri and I admire you for being positive in dealing with "Al'.

An amazing high tech companion has been highlighted by AARP as one of the most innovative solutions in senior care today. I hope you would find this helpful... It has been helpful with my dad who was dealing with Alzheimer's. Not just a great companion but a friend who was always there for dad when he needs it.
