This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri was recently contacted by a woman working with the Cure Alzheimer's Fund . She asked me to share the link to the new song "Remember Me" (an Anthem for Alzheimer's). This is a beautiful tribute to all the "Al's" in the world, worth watching and sharing.

This was a really touching video. I had many thoughts about the people from my past while viewing it. Fortunately, none were faced with yours and Bobs situation. I will always remember Bob like he was back in PA. Wish I could attach the picture of him from high school, as he was the last time I saw him and before he met Al. If you don't have a picture from 1961 let me know, jandjdevore@mindspring.com
