This blog is about life with my husband who was diagnosed with Early Onset Alzheimer's and Frontal Lobe Dementia in 2008. He was 64 at the time although now, knowing more about the disease, Alzheimer's was present many, many years ago, which is why early detection is so important. As you read the blog the character "Al" that I created in 2008, represents the way that Alzheimer's is invading our daily lives.
There is an archive tab further down the page that starts from the beginning of our journey.

Living with Bob and "Al"

Sheri is so very thankful for Daughter Number 2, she left her husband behind and came back to Minnesota early to help with the move and the transition of Daughter Number 1 getting married. She spent time with her Dad  and "Al" yesterday so that Sheri could take an hour or so to have some much needed camera time. Sheri can't really explain it, but when she is out doing photography, she has only what she sees through the lens to focus on and it allows her to just breathe. God is good.
